The Best DeFi Portfolio Trackers in 2026 (Complete Review)

The best DeFi portfolio trackers in 2026 are Otomato, DeBank, Zerion, Zapper and CoinStats. Each is best at something different: Otomato for automatic position monitoring and alerts, DeBank for raw protocol coverage, Zerion if you also want a wallet, Zapper for onchain discovery, and CoinStats if you mix exchange accounts with DeFi.

We tested all five with the same real wallets: an Aave borrow position on Base, Pendle PTs on Ethereum, perps on Hyperliquid, LP positions, plus tokens and NFTs across chains. Below you'll find the full comparison, what each tool actually detects, and the one question most rankings skip: once your positions are on a dashboard, who is watching them?

Full disclosure: Otomato is our product. To keep this ranking useful we tested all five tools with the same wallets, and for each one we tell you exactly where it beats us.

DeFi portfolio trackers compared: Otomato vs DeBank vs Zerion vs Zapper vs CoinStats

Tracking
Tokens, DeFi positions & NFTs
Paste an address, zero setup~
Mobile app
Monitoring: only Otomato
Watches your positions 24/7
Risk alerts (liquidation, rates, funding, depegs)
Event alerts (PT maturity, order fills, security incidents)

All five show you what you have. Only Otomato tells you when to act.

Otomato: the portfolio that monitors itself

Otomato starts like the others: paste a wallet address, no wallet connect, no signatures, and it detects your tokens, DeFi positions, perps, NFTs and prediction market bets across 11 chains (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, HyperEVM, BNB Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Optimism, Mantle, Ink, Plasma). The difference is what happens next: Otomato keeps watching every position and alerts you when something actually needs you.

Concretely, that means it knows your Aave health factor and pings you before liquidation gets close, tells you when your Pendle PT is about to mature, when funding on your Hyperliquid perp turns expensive, when a stablecoin you hold depegs, when your limit order fills, or when a protocol you're exposed to has a security incident. Our users rate roughly 9 out of 10 alerts as useful, and that number is the entire product: an alert you ignore is a bug.

Where it falls short. Otomato is EVM only: no Solana, no Bitcoin, no exchange accounts. It goes deep on the protocols it covers (Aave, Morpho, Euler, Pendle, Hyperliquid, Uniswap and more) but covers fewer than DeBank's 1,300+. And it does no tax reports. If you need to see every small farm you ever touched, keep DeBank in a tab.

Verdict: the only tool of the five that answers "do I need to act?" instead of just "what do I have?". If your positions can get liquidated, expire or quietly go wrong, this is the one that watches them. Paste your address and you're monitored in about ten seconds.

DeBank review: the reference for raw protocol coverage

If coverage is all you care about, DeBank is the strongest tracker ever built. It reads 1,300+ protocols across 100+ EVM chains, and it shows position details better than anyone: supplied and borrowed assets, LP composition, rewards, vesting, all correctly labeled. Paste an address and it just works, free. It also has a social side, with profiles, followers and a feed of what big wallets are doing.

Where it falls short. DeBank is built for checking, not for being told. It will render your Aave health factor beautifully, but it will not watch it overnight, warn you that your PT matures Thursday, or tell you funding on your perp went positive against you. You are the monitoring system, and the workflow is you opening the tab. There's also no Solana and no exchange accounts. For a deeper head-to-head, see our Otomato vs DeBank comparison.

Verdict: the best encyclopedia of your onchain life, and the tool we still respect most in the category. It answers "what do I have?" better than anyone, and never answers "do I need to act?"

Zerion review: best if you also want a wallet

Zerion sits halfway between a tracker and a wallet, and that's its pitch: track any address across 50+ chains (including Solana, which DeBank and Otomato don't cover), then act on what you see with the built-in wallet. Position coverage spans 500+ protocols, the mobile app is arguably the most polished in the category, and the history view makes it easy to retrace everything you did.

Where it falls short. DeFi detail is good but a step below DeBank on complex positions, and alerts stop at price moves and wallet activity. It can tell you a token pumped or your wallet received funds; it won't tell you your loan is getting close to liquidation or that your yield turned negative. See Otomato vs Zerion for the detailed comparison.

Verdict: the best all-in-one app if you want to hold, swap and track in one place, with light notifications on top.

Zapper: best for onchain activity and discovery

Zapper adds a social feed to your portfolio: you see what the wallets you follow are doing, trending tokens and apps, and you can swap or deposit without leaving the page. Chain coverage is very wide, setup is paste-an-address, and it's free.

Heads up: Zapper is shutting down. On July 8, 2026, co-founder and CEO Seb Audet announced that Zapper is winding down after seven years. The site, the mobile apps and the APIs go offline on August 3, 2026. We keep this section up because Zapper defined the category, but if you are picking a tracker today, choose one of the other four.

Where it falls short. Position detail on complex DeFi (leveraged positions, complex LPs) is a step behind DeBank and Zerion, and there are no position-risk alerts at all. Zapper is built for discovery: it's the tool you open to find what's next, not the one that guards what you already have.

Verdict: it was the most fun of the five to browse, but with the August 3, 2026 shutdown you should not start here. If you are migrating from Zapper, Otomato and DeBank are the most direct replacements: same paste-an-address setup, same multi-chain position detection.

CoinStats: best if you mix CEX and DeFi

CoinStats is the only tool here that treats Binance, Coinbase and your onchain wallets as one portfolio: connect exchanges with read-only API keys, add wallet addresses, and see one total value, profit and loss, and allocation. It offers price alerts and portfolio-value alerts on mobile, plus reports that help at tax time.

Where it falls short. DeFi is the weak point: lending positions, LP ranges and perps are shown with less detail than the onchain-first trackers, and alerts stay focused on prices, not positions. Setup is also heavier: API keys for each exchange instead of pasting one address. Heavy DeFi users will hit its limits quickly.

Verdict: the right pick when the CEX side of your portfolio is as big as the onchain side. For pure DeFi, the other four do more.

Trackers vs monitoring: the real question

Every tool above answers "what do I have?". Almost none answer "do I need to act?", and that second question is the one that actually matters. On-chain positions don't wait for you: a health factor drops while you sleep, funding turns against your perp at 3am, a PT expires on a Thursday, a stablecoin depegs in twenty minutes.

With a pure tracker, your risk management strategy is literally "I hope I check at the right moment." Run the numbers on what that habit costs you:

110 hours / year
That's 4.6 full days a year spent confirming that, most of the time, nothing changed.
With monitoring: 0 scheduled checks. You open the app when an alert says something needs you.

Without Otomato

1
Remember to check. Or don't.
2
Open the dashboard and scan every position.
3
"Nothing changed." Close the tab.
↻ Repeat tomorrow. And the day after.
The check that matters is the one you skip.

With Otomato

1
Otomato watches every position, 24/7.
2
Something crosses a threshold: health factor, funding, maturity.
3
You get one alert and act in seconds. A real one:
Real Otomato alert: USDC is depegging on Aave, current price $0.984, deviation -1.6%
No alert means all good. Verified, not assumed.

This is the honest reason Otomato ranks first on our own blog: a portfolio you have to remember to check is a dashboard. A portfolio that tells you when it needs you is an assistant. Once you've had the second, the first feels like a landline.

Which one should you pick?

You want your portfolio watched for you
Otomato. A full portfolio dashboard and a mobile app, plus the alerts none of the others send.
You farm dozens of small protocols
DeBank. Nothing else shows the long tail as completely.
You want the wallet itself built in
Zerion. Hold and swap from the same app, Solana included.
Half your money sits on Binance or Coinbase
CoinStats. The only one that merges exchange accounts and wallets.

The honest combo: some of our users keep DeBank bookmarked for deep dives into obscure farms, and use Otomato day to day: the portfolio you open, the app that alerts you. A tracker with no monitor just means you're the monitor.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best free DeFi portfolio tracker?+
Otomato, DeBank and Zapper are fully usable for free, though Zapper shuts down on August 3, 2026. DeBank is the strongest free option for raw coverage; Otomato is the strongest free option if you want your positions monitored and alerted, not just displayed.
What is the best DeBank alternative?+
It depends on what DeBank is missing for you. If it's alerts and monitoring, Otomato is the natural alternative. If it's Solana coverage or a built-in wallet, Zerion. If it's exchange accounts, CoinStats.
What is the best Zapper alternative?+
Zapper announced it is winding down: the site, the mobile apps and the APIs go offline on August 3, 2026. If you used Zapper to see your DeFi positions across chains, Otomato and DeBank are the most direct replacements, with the same paste-an-address setup and multi-chain position detection. Otomato additionally monitors those positions and alerts you when one needs action, which no pure tracker offers.
Can I track my DeFi positions without connecting my wallet?+
Yes. Otomato, DeBank and Zapper all work by pasting a wallet address: read-only, no signatures, no way for the tool to move funds. Otomato additionally starts monitoring the address automatically once pasted.
Which portfolio tracker has the best alerts?+
For position-level alerts (health factor, liquidation proximity, funding rates, PT maturity, depegs, order fills), Otomato is the only tool in this comparison that supports them. CoinStats and Zerion offer alerts, but they are centered on prices and wallet activity.
Do these trackers support Hyperliquid?+
Otomato has native Hyperliquid coverage including perp positions, liquidation proximity, funding and order fills. General-purpose trackers cover Hyperliquid unevenly, and none of them alert on perp risk.

The portfolio that monitors itself

Paste your wallet address. Otomato finds every position across 11 chains and alerts you when one of them needs you. Free, read-only, ready in ten seconds.
