Otomato for Morpho
Health factor alerts, vault yield tracking, and risk monitoring for your Morpho positions.
What you need to monitor
Morpho optimizes lending and borrowing by isolating risk per market and routing capital through curated vaults. Otomato detects your Morpho positions and monitors your health factor, rates, vault performance, and underlying protocol events.
Morpho redesigns on-chain lending around isolated markets and curated vaults. Each market has its own oracle, LLTV, and interest rate model, which means your risk is specific to the exact market you entered, not to a shared pool. That precision is powerful but also harder to track manually because a parameter change or oracle issue on one market does not show in your default dashboard. Otomato automatically detects your Morpho Blue positions and Vault deposits, tracks the LLTV and current liquidation price for every borrow position, and monitors vault yield and underlying utilization. When your health factor approaches the LLTV threshold, when vault APYs drop materially, or when a curator changes vault allocations, Otomato sends a targeted alert. Available on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and HyperEVM. Read-only, zero setup, no signatures.
Common use cases
What we watch
Alerts Otomato sends for Morpho
Otomato automatically detects your positions and alerts you only when something relevant happens.
Health factor approaching liquidation
Your Morpho borrow position is bound to a specific LLTV (liquidation loan-to-value). Otomato tracks your current LTV against the LLTV and alerts you well before the threshold so you have time to adjust collateral or repay.
Liquidation risk threshold breached
When the price of your collateral or debt asset moves against you enough to put your specific market in danger, Otomato surfaces the distance to liquidation in dollar terms, not just a ratio.
Market rate change
Borrow and supply rates on a Morpho market move with utilization. A sudden jump can flip a profitable carry trade into a losing one. Otomato watches each market you are exposed to.
Market-specific risk event
Each Morpho market has its own oracle, collateral type, and LLTV. If the oracle stops updating, the underlying collateral has a security event, or the LLTV is adjusted, Otomato alerts you.
Vault performance and allocation change
MetaMorpho vaults are managed by curators who reallocate capital across markets. Otomato tracks yield changes and curator reallocations that affect your vault deposit.
Why monitoring matters for Morpho users
Morpho isolates risk per market, which is great for capital efficiency but means you cannot rely on a single portfolio dashboard view to spot issues. A problem with the oracle on one Morpho Blue market does not affect your other deposits, but it also does not show up unless you check that specific market.
MetaMorpho vaults add another layer. A curator may quietly reallocate your deposit between markets to chase yield, or to de-risk after an event. Most users never notice these moves until APY changes, by which point the decision has already been made.
For borrowers, the LLTV ceiling is per market and often tighter than what generalized lending venues offer. Without monitoring, a routine price move on your collateral asset can put you within a few percent of liquidation while you are not looking.
What you would receive
Example Morpho alerts
Morpho health factor on Base dropped to 1.18
Your Morpho Blue position (cbETH collateral, USDC debt, LLTV 86%) on Base just dropped from a health factor of 1.55 to 1.18 after a 4.3% move in cbETH. ~$1,420 of headroom remains.
MetaMorpho USDC vault APY dropped from 6.1% to 3.4%
The curator reallocated your MetaMorpho USDC vault on Ethereum away from a higher-yield Morpho Blue market. Effective APY on your $24,500 deposit is now 3.4%.
Oracle event on Morpho wstETH market
The price oracle on the wstETH and USDC Morpho Blue market you borrow against has not updated for 27 minutes. Review exposure or wait for normal operation.
Frequently asked questions about Morpho alerts
What types of Morpho alerts does Otomato support?+
Otomato sends alerts for health factor and liquidation risk on Morpho Blue borrow positions, rate changes on markets you use, oracle and parameter events specific to your markets, and yield and allocation changes on MetaMorpho vaults you deposit into.
Do I need to connect my wallet?+
No. Otomato is read-only. You paste your wallet address and we read your Morpho Blue and MetaMorpho positions from on-chain state. We never request a signature and we cannot move your funds.
How do you detect my Morpho positions?+
We index Morpho Blue markets and MetaMorpho vaults on every supported chain. Your wallet is resolved against current supply and borrow balances per market, so new positions are picked up the next time their state updates.
Which chains does this work on?+
Morpho monitoring is available on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and HyperEVM. If you use Morpho on more than one chain, Otomato monitors them in parallel and labels each alert with the chain it came from.
How do I set custom thresholds for my position?+
Each Morpho position has its own alert configuration. Otomato ships with smart defaults for health factor and rate alerts, and you can override them per position from the Alert Configuration screen in the app. Other positions remain on defaults.
Is monitoring Morpho free?+
Yes. Core monitoring for Morpho Blue and MetaMorpho positions is free, including health factor, liquidation risk, rate, and vault alerts. Premium features will cover advanced needs like multi-wallet portfolios and overnight phone-call escalations.
